We Support Children and Youth to Reach Their Full Potential

ACTIVITIES IMPLEMENTED

We are working in women empowerment, skill development and vocational training, soil and water conservation; small and micro-enterprise development; sustainable agriculture since last 11 years.

1) Vocational training provider under PMKUVA scheme- VTP-Medical and Nursing/HealthcareSector– Bedside Assistant, Midwifery Assistant courses which includes Community Healthcare, Healthcare – Assistants, Preventive Healthcare (including Nutrition &Health Education and Health Counseling) –Being run at Palam dist.Parbhani.

 2) Legal Awareness program for women and girls in assistance with NCW–(National Commission for Women)- We conducted Legal Awareness Programs in Palam Block (Parbhani District) in assistance with National Commission for women. We arranged awareness camps regarding Domestic Voilenceact,Labouract,PCPNDT act etc with the help of resource persons.

3)AGP-Awareness Generation Program- we worked through this program in assistance with Central Social Welfare Board in Palam Block (Parbhani District). We worked for formation of SHGs, microenterprises through this program.

 

4) Working as PTO:-Our Organization is empanelled as PTO (Project Training Organization) in 2014 for IWMP (Integrated Watershed Management Program) run by Vasundhara  Watershed Development Agency, Pune. We have successfully completed Watershed Awareness Programs, SHG and UG Trainings of 4200 beneficiaries of Washim district –IWMP 3 &4 clusters (ManoraTaluka) area.

5) Working as LRA:-Our Organization is empanelled as LRA (Livelihood Resource Agency) in 2014 for IWMP (Integrated Watershed Management Program) run by Wasundhara  Watershed Development Agency, Pune. We have successfully completed Livelihood Skill Development Trainings of 3000 beneficiaries of ParbhaniandLatur districts. We conducted Livelihood Skill Development Trainings in IWMP 19 and 20 in ManwatTaluka area of Parbhani District which covered 8 villages.

We also worked in IWMP 9 – JalkotTalukaDist.Laturand IWMP 10 – UdgirTalukaDist.Latur which covered 10 villages .

6) We have implemented RSBY –RashtiySwastyaBimaYojana Scheme in our   hospital at    Palam in 2012 and gave free IPD services to more than 5000 patients through this scheme.

7) Worked as an ‘IA’- Implementing Agency in CAIM project- We have worked as an Implementing Agency in CAIM (Convergence of Agricultural Interventions in Maharashtra) project at subproject-Mangulpir cluster in Washim district of Vidarbha.We have worked in 27n villages through this project. We have worked for Sustainable Agriculture, Soil and water conservation, Market Linkages abd SME Development and Livestock Development for 4000 beneficiaries (farmers and SHG members).We worked in this cluster for increasing farm and off farm income of our beneficiaries and overcome them from decreased income and mental stress and distress. We have worked performing various activities like IPM (Integrated pest management), fodder development, LEISA (Low External Input Sustainable Agriculture) demo, Mushroom cultivation etc. We also gave vocational training of beauty parlour to 36 women and girls from various villages in our cluster. We done CNB desalting (14 CNBs) and Public Well Recharge (10 villages) for increasing ground water level through our soil and water conservation component of the project.

 

8) Seminar/Workshop on Women Health care-  We organized a seminar on ‘Women Health care- Menstrual Hygiene and Hygiene Management’ at Palam. Dist. Parbhani. This seminar was arranged with assistance of grant from NCW (National Commission for Women, New Delhi).More than participants from target group Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and adolescent school girls were present to this workshop. 8 resource persons addressed the participants on various health related issues of women and girls especially on their Menstrual hygiene and hygiene management.Z.P.member,Parbhani saw.Mangalatai Rokade was chair person and Mrs.Tejaswini Jadhav (Tahasaildar,Palam) was inaugurator for the workshop. Dr.Mrs. Shalinitai Karad (Member-Maharashtra state Child Right Commission) was also chief guest and resource person for this workshop.
